| Brief Description of Assignment |

The consulting services (“the services”) include:
A new feasibility study of Ramgarh Land Port;
Review of previously completed feasibility of Phase-I portion for Bhomra Land Port;
Detailed design of the perimeter fencing, gates and security tower at Benapole Land Port.
Detailed design of the Ramgarh Land Port following detailed feasibility (a);
Detailed design of Bhomra Land Port following feasibility review (b).
Expected date for commencement of the services is July 2018 and completion by January 2019. The tentative duration of the entire assignment is about 7(seven) months.TOR is also available in BLPA’s website (www.bsbk.gov.bd) |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
adequate experience in doing feasibility, detail design, and environmental and social assessment with experiences in similar infrastructures and management of land ports;
have experience in the fields of architectural planning and design, engineering survey and design works for similar infrastructures for land customs stations, container yards, inland container depots, dry ports, traffic forecasting and planning, pavement design, slope protection works and drainage engineering;
have experience in solid waste management, bio-engineering, hydrology, material study, economic and financial evaluation, cost estimation and preparation of bid documents, resettlement, environmental and social safeguards/risk-analysis and management, and stakeholder engagement; and
Corporate Capacity of the Consultants (Annual Turnover, Financial Information for last 5 years, but no audited financial statements in this regard).TOR is also available in BLPA’s website (www.bsbk.gov.bd) |
