INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
In order to improve the quality of traditional dry fish /produce best quality dry fish through the year & enhance its shelf life and improve the work environment for workers engaged in dry fish production, BFDC has taken an initiative to establish a dry fish processing industry in Cox’s Bazar. To carry out the project successfully, consultancy service is in need. The required service include but not limited to:
a) Prepare sub-soil investigation, detail survey map, site analysis report, site layout plan.
b) Prepare architectural, structural, sanitary & plumbing, electrical and mechanical design and drawings of all component.
c) Prepare estimated cost including detail schedule of items and bill of quantities.
d) Prepare tender documents for each contract.
e) Prepare Inception, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly Project completion report etc.
f) Provide monitoring & technical supervision for quality control in the construction of all civil, electrical & mechanical works and recommendation for payment (if applicable). |

The EOI will be evaluated on the basis of the following to prepare a shortlist and interested consulting firms must provide the following information:
1) Background of the firm with brochure;
2) General experiences of the firm in last 5 years;
3) Summary of similar projects/services completed (experience on construction of Main Plant Building, Internal Road & Drain, Effluent Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, Sewerage Treatment Plant etc.) in last 5 years including total professional man month and contract value;
4) Average Annual Turn Over (Audited) of the firms during the last 5 years;
5) Up-to-date and valid Trade Licence, TIN and VAT Registration Certificate.
6) Updated Income Tax Clearance Certificate.
7) Joint Venture Agreement (if applicable)
8) Availability of appropriate experts among staff, logistics support such as
a) Team Leader: Post Graduate/Graduate in Architect/Civil Engineer min. exp. 20 yrs.
b) Quality Control Expert: Post Graduate in fisheries technology/food technology/chemistry/bio-chemistry with 15 years’ experience.
c). Sr. Architect: Graduate in Architect min. exp. 15 yrs.
d) Jr. Architect: Graduate in Architect min. 5 yrs.
e) Sr. Structural Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineer min. exp. 15 yrs.
f) Jr. Structural Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineer min. exp. 5 yrs.
g) Sr. Electrical Engineer: Graduate in Electrical Engineer min. exp. 15 yrs.
h) Sr. Mechanical Engineer: Graduate in Mechanical Engineer min. exp. 15 yrs.
i) Quantity/Cost Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineer min. exp. 10 yrs.
j) Construction Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineer min. exp. 10 yrs.
k) Site Engineer: Diploma in Civil, Electrical & mechanical Engineer min. exp. 7 yrs. |

Submission of EOI should be done in closed envelope bearing the Name & Address of Firm(s), EOI Name & Date and be addressed to the EOI issuing authority in 05 copies; 01 marked as “ORIGINAL” and others as “COPY” in separate envelopes in the form of bookbinding. Both the `ORIGINAL’ and `COPY’ shall have to be covered within a single envelope. The applicant shall have to mention the page number serially in every page of submitted EOI document. |
