| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The main objectives are 1) providing advice to BRRL on application framework of polymer modified bitumen (to resist rutting, longitudinal stresses, thermal stresses etc.) on various road under road divisions, 2) providing a format of Test Protocol with super paved mix design, 3) Providing assistance and support to enact the laboratory in Meghna under BRRL and 4) providing training on different performance grade bitumen application and improvement techniques. |

Relevant Experience and Qualification:
• Masters in Civil Engineering (Transportation). PhD in relevant field is preferred.
• 15 (Fifteen) years general experience
• at least 12 (Twelve) years’ experience in relevant field (Pavement engineering, polymer modified bitumen application etc). Completion of minimum one project related to polymer modified bitumen will be preferred.

Further information can be obtained from the Office of the Executive Engineer (C.C), RHD, Quality Control & Training Division, Bangladesh Road Research Laboratory from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM in any working day before the closing date. With all supporting documents, the EOI must be delivered at or before 12.00 pm on March 24, 2021 in sealed envelopes marked with “Consultancy Services for Technical Support Related to application, specification & Test Protocol of Polymer Modified Bitumen for Quality Control & Training Division Under Bangladesh Road Research Laboratory (BRRL), RHD” to the signatory address. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is expected to be issued to the short-listed Firms by April 05, 2021. The Client will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the Firm(s) in connection with the preparation or delivery of the EOI. The Procuring Entity reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal without assigning any reason. |
