| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The consultancy services/professional service is required to provide necessary technical assistance to the project director in implementing the components.
The objective of this assignments is to provide consultancy service [‘Drawing, Design, Estimate, & Tender Document Preparation and Supervision of Construction work/civil works’] to Department of Social Services (DSS) for implementation of the said project. This assignment includes:
• Preparing detailed architectural design – drawing for the construction of the project.
• Preparing sub soil investigation at proposed site.
• Preparing detail structural design – drawing for said project according to the compliance with ACI code, BNBC, prevailing international standards & Considering available resources along with detailed working drawings
• Preparing Sanitary & plumbing, internal & external electrical drawings along with generator & sub-station for the said project
• Preparing mechanical Design–drawing which includes lift, HAVC, Fire protection & detection etc.
• Preparing engineers estimate, Bill of Quantities and Tender Documents (According to PPR, 2008) for the said project.
• Visiting the sites (8 Districts in 8 Divisions) at construction stages as and when necessary & providing suggestions, solutions etc. if any complicacy arises at construction period.
• Executing any other activities directed by the Project Director of the said project.
• The consulting firm must have at least 10 (ten) years’ proven experience of Design, Supervision and Monitoring of the Construction work/civil works.
• The consulting firm must have valid trade license, current bank solvency certificate, TIN certificate, most recent Income Tax confirmation certificate, VAT Certificate, Audited Financial Statement and Cash Flow Statement for the last 3 (three) years; Average Annual Turnover in the last 3 (three) years;
• The consulting firm is expected to provide work distribution and team composition plan as deemed suited based on this project requirements and milestones and as per their proposed development and implementation methodology approach. The interested applicant (consulting firm) should provide a team composition plan in their proposal describing the position, roles, tasks to be assigned, expected man-days of involvement, expected deliverables and required skill and expertise.
• The Firm may participate alone or form a consortium (as a form of JV) of maximum 03 (three) members. In case of the consortium, legal documents (as a form of JV agreement as per PPR 2008 and PPA 2006) on the partners’ roles and responsibilities should be included as an attachment to the EOl proposal. One member of the consortium represents as prime partner (Lead Member) and other as a member partner.
