| Brief Description of Assignment |

The overall objective of the study is to carry out a detailed feasibility study for comprehensive development of Kushiyara river basin focusing on integrated flood, water and river system management, drainage improvement and irrigation development for the improvement of socio-economic and overall environmental condition. The study also includes preparation of a rehabilitation plan for the Manu Irrigation Project, development of an integrated management framework for Hakaluki Haor, conduct a comprehensive ESIA, and formulation of detailed working design of proposed intervention with detailed cost estimates for short-term candidate projects and qualitative cost estimate for medium and long-term plan. Interested consulting firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The EOI will be evaluated based on the following: a) Registration and Legal Entitlements of the Firm (Trade License, TIN, VAT Registration, etc.), b) Company Profile, Organizational Structure, Logistics and Availability of Permanent Key Professional Staff, c) Average Annual Turnover (Audited Financial Statement for the last 5 (five) years), d) General Experience of the firm(s) over the last 10 (Ten) years and e) Specific Experience in similar nature of service (i.e. Feasibility Study for Water Resources Management Project, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of Water Resources Management Project, Land Acquisition & Resettlement Plan) over the last 05 (five) years.
Consulting Firm may associate with other firms to strengthen their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a Joint Venture . all members of the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable) and/or Sub-consultants. Each firm's specific tasks and obligations must be outlined in the joint venture agreement. In case of joint venture, it is preferable to limit the maximum number of firms within 03 (three) in an association including the lead firm.
