| Brief Description of Assignment |

Selection of consulting firm for designing of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), implementation & supervision under MCEP(Dhaka-Mymensing Division) project in BREB.
The main objectives of the Assignment:
1) To Increase reliability and quality of power supply.
2) To Peak load management.
3) Minimum power restoration time in case of power interruption/failure. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

1. The Consulting Firms should have at least 5 years experience in power sector and They should have a full-fledged staff set-up that will be capable of doing the work.
2. The firm must have financial capability to handle the services of the similar activities and yearly turn over is at least 25 lacs in last 05 (Five) years.
3. The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) now invites expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible Consulting firm/ consortium (National) for above mentioned Package under “Modernization and Capacity Enhancement of BREB Network (Dhaka-Mymensingh Division)” Project to indicate their interests in providing the services. The following criteria will be followed for short-listing.
a) Establishment of the firm
b) Qualification of the firm (Overall experience)
c) Availability of the key staff
d) Physical resources
e) Experience in power distribution system
f) Specific experience in BESS system in power sector |
