As per ITT and TDS.:
i) General Experience:
Tenderer must have 05 (five) years of experience as Prime Contractor or Sub-Contractor or Management Contractor for Works.
ii) Specific Experience:
The Tenderer must have experience as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in construction works of at least 01 (one) contract of similar nature, complexity and methods/construction technology successfully completed within the last 15 (fifteen) years, with a Value of at least BDT 150 (one hundred fifty) crores.
Similar nature and complexity are:
a. Construction of Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) Wearing Course on a bridge/ flyover/ elevated expressway in a single Contract of minimum value of BDT 15.00 (fifteen) crore.
b. Execution of deck pavement repair works using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) (including Epoxy Seal, Epoxy Regin Mortar and Thermal Insulation) for bridge/ flyover/ elevated expressway maintenance works of minimum value of BDT 40.00 (forty) crore.
c. Bridge expansion joint removal and installation works of minimum value of BDT 10.00 (ten) crore
The above works may be in a single contract or separate contracts. |

Jamuna Bridge is 18.5 meters wide with restricted 4 (2+2) lanes (12.6 m excluding barriers) for road traffic and a single lane Broad gauge rail lane (3.5 m). The rail line has become abandoned which needs to be removed to widen the road lane to standard four lanes, as designed by the Consultant. Therefore, the works include but not only limited to: removal of concrete sleeper of the abandoned rail lane, relocation of the barriers, identification and sealing of cracks, refurbishment of deck surface with stone mastic asphalt with geometric profile correction; details are provided in BoQ, Specifications and Drawings of the Tender Document |
