A theme song produced by CPTU highlighting the process and features of electronic government procurement (e-GP) has gained much popularity among the stakeholders of public procurement and other audiences.

Renowned rhymer and story writer Md Faruque Hossain, who is Director General of CPTU, has provided the lyrics of the theme song. Young and talented singer Mahadi has sung it.

Bangladesh Centre for Communication Programs (BCCP) provided overall support in producing the music video.
The e-GP theme song has been played at the district-level e-GP Awareness Workshops, Government and Tenderers Forum and other training sessions. Besides, the melodious and meaningful song was telecast in leading private TV channels, Bangladesh Television (BTV), Bangladesh Betar and some private radio stations.

CPTU has also produced as many as eight success stories on various aspects of public procurement. A television commercial on the subject was also produced and telecast.

The e-GP theme song has its sub-title in English so that foreigners can understand its content and messages.
The very message conveyed to audiences is digitization of public procurement for ensuring greater transparent, accountability, efficiency and effectiveness. Achieving value for money is the essence of public procurement.
