In reference to the documents as mentioned above, this is to notify you that, you are awarded the 2nd Amended Contract Agreement for Additional Work in the position of Time-Based Junior Consultant (Clearing House Management) for an additional 8 (Eight) Man-Months from 01.06.2025 till 31.01.2026; based upon your acceptance, signing of the 2nd amended contract agreement and re-joining) in addition to the original contract agreement, which was signed on 10.08.2022, having an initial duration of 22 (Twenty-Two) Man-Months and 11 (Eleven) Man-Days (effective from 21.08.2022 till 30.06.2024) and the 1st amended contract agreement, which was signed on 30.06.2024, having an additional duration of 11 (Eleven) Man-Months. Therefore, total contract duration of the amended contract agreement will be 41 (Forty-One) Man-Months and 11 (Eleven) Man-days (from 21.08.2022 till 31.01.2026).
02. Mentionable that, the monthly remuneration of BDT. 1,12,000/- (In Words: Taka One Lakh Twelve Thousand Only; including Income Tax (IT) as per Government Rate deductible at Source) per Man-Month and BDT. 1,28,800/- (In Words: Taka One Lakh Twenty-Eight Thousand and Eight Hundred Only; including Income Tax (IT) and Value Added Tax (VAT) as per Government Rate deductible at Source) per Man-Month, which was previously negotiated on 01.08.2022 and had also been approved by the Procurement Entity (PE) of the respective project as per the Original Contract Agreement, has been increased to the monthly remuneration of BDT. 1,33,000/- (In Words: Taka One Lakh and Thirty-Three Thousand Only; including Income Tax (IT) as per Government Rate deductible at Source) per Man-Month and BDT. 1,69,945/- (In Words: Taka One Lakh Sixty-Nine Thousand Nine-Hundred and Forty-Five Only; including Income Tax (IT) and Value Added Tax (VAT) as per Government Rate deductible at Source) per Man-Month, which was negotiated on 27.05.2025 and have been approved by the Head of Procuring Entity (HoPE) i.e. Executive Director, DTCA.
03. It is also mentionable that, the total contract value for the 2nd amended contract duration as mentioned above will not exceed BDT. 56,55,663/- (In words: Fifty-Six Lakh Fifty-Five Thousand Six- Hundred and Sixty-Three Taka Only; including VAT and IT) and the VAT and IT will be deducted at source as per government rules and regulations. On the other hand, within this total duration of the 2nd amended contract agreement, the Client or its representative may evaluate the Consultant’s progress and performance quarterly. Failure to fulfill the required output and meet the standard, the contract will be assumed Null and Void.
04. In addition to that, this NoA for Additional Work-2, will constitute the formation of the 2nd Amended Contract Agreement and will consequently become bounded upon you. Failure to accept this offer in writing within 1 (One) days of receiving this NoA and afterwards to commence duty from 01.06.2025, will be considered as the automatic declination of this offer.
05. It is also to be notified that, the 2nd Amended Contract Agreement will become null and void, if and only if the project is not extended after 30.06.2025 by the Road Transport and Highways Division (RTHD).
